ITINERARY:
- Normally, we have 2 time options:
- Morning: 08:00AM – 01:00PM
- Afternoon: 01:00PM – 06:00PM (You can admire the sunset from the glorious river)
- Our tour guides aka your drivers will pick you up from your hotel to start the Hoi An Countryside Discovery Tour (at 08:00AM or 01:00PM).
- We will be riding motorbike around the old streets and alleyways, going across the blocks of ancient yellow houses, stopping to photograph the iconic Japanese bridge and get inside a local food shops for eating Cao Lau, the special must-try dish in Hoi An.
- After a quick breakfast, we are heading to the Tra Que Vegetables Village. Located 3 kilometers away from the downtown, with the local cottages gently embraced by vast rice paddy fields and tranquil lakes, this village is widely considered as the most beautiful rural area in Vietnam. Because no chemicals are used in farming process, all of vegetables and herbs are totally fresh and clean. That’s why the Tra Que is well-known as the most famous organic vegetables village in Vietnam. From the early morning, bunches of veggies were harvested and quickly delivered to local markets and restaurants. Gradually, they become indispensable ingredients served in every dish throughout Vietnam, not just in Hoi An.
- You are not only going here to escape the busy city and enjoy the peaceful surroundings, but also expected to try doing some daily farming activities as the local peasants do, including harvesting veggies or watering plants with traditional Vietnamese style (the two water buckets on the bamboo pole).
- Leaving the Tra Que Village, we are going to the Cam Kim Island on which there are a lot of famous traditional handicraft workshops. The carpentry village which was formed in the 15th century and very famous for its sculpture works and talented carpenters will be our 1st stop. Almost all Hoi An ancient architecture were made by this village’s ancestors with their skills and creativity.
